Hedj
After a long time of listening to The Prodigy and some other Old School stuff, Hedj..s first experience with Drum and Bass in the late 90ies made him fall in love with this energetic sound. It didn..t take a long time when he started making his own beats with Fruity loops 3, until he met Grooveside from Hamburg, Germany, who brought him to Cubase and Reason. Since this point, Hedj, improving his beats, was a member of the Liveact Grooveside Project, formally also known as Grooveside and Access. After splitting up with Grooveside, Assimilate Recordings owner and german Drum and Bass pioneer Cativo got interested in Hedj..s Style. With now numerous signings and releases on Assimilate rec., Hedj also got some deals with the up- rising dark label Mindsaw Recordings. In near future there will be releases on diffrent labels as well, like the new label Abducted Rec., Trust in Music, Flight rec and the big Collective Rec etc. In 2008 Hedj and his Girlfriend also will try themselves as Promoters, starting a new Partyseries in their hometown, focused on upfront Neuro, deep wobbling Jumpup and espescially evil Darkside. - V.C.A - Violence caused by alcohol!!
